Mobile Software Developer
Lead / senior and entry level Software Developers support all of our development activities in our Mobile LBS (Location Based Services) applications. Developers are responsible for the full software development life cycle to architect, design, and deliver dynamic web and client/server applications. Position requires strong problem solving skills, excellent coding & debugging skills, a proven track record of delivering solid solutions, and a passion for learning new technologies and writing good code. Must have the ability to work independently and research innovative solutions. Needs to support multiple concurrent projects and work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Experience in mobile or e-commerce is a plus.Roles & Responsibilities
- Build enterprise-class client/server applications that power our mobile and internet offerings
- Collaborate with web and mobile development teams on multiple initiatives requiring performance tuning, mobile/web integration and architecture designs and reviews
- Design and development of server-side components for networked applications.
- Porting, integration, updating, and maintenance of existing mobile applications.
- Design and development of core engineering features, libraries, engines, and components for platform-independent mobile applications.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Solid in-depth knowledge and background developing and designing data-driven distributed web-applications, using Java, JSP, and SQL (especially Oracle). using J2EE (JDBC, JNI, EJB, JSP, XML, JMS SOAP), SQL Server, Oracle, MS Access
- MUST have experience in at least one mobile programming language: J2ME, MIDP 2.0, CLDC 1.1, BREW, C,C++, Blackberry, Windows Mobile 5.0 and/or Symbian
- Required knowledge of mobile foot print and application architecture
- Experience with WAP 2.0, XHTML, WML
- Strong Object Oriented programming expertise, particularly in C++/ and/or Java (You must be hands on with the code and rigorous about coding and architecture change to make the code better meaning well designed, and above all, readable code in ANY language)
- Strong understanding of the server side software, scalability, performance and reliability aspects, specifically: experience with application servers such as JBoss, Weblogic and Web servers such as TOMCAT and, particularly Apache
- A strong background in Unix, particularly RedHat/Linux
- Experienced with Java, JavaScript, C++, VBscript, Visual basic 6.0, XML, XSL and DHTML
- Experience developing complicated applications through all phases of development, design, prototype, implementation, deployment, and re-use

Senior Software Application Developer
Smarter Agent is looking for senior level software programmers to help support our software development activities. Customer Service Account Manager

Senior Quality Assurance Analyst
The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for systematically testing mobile software applications across all hardware lines and platforms to deliver high quality products to our clients. This position will take a lead role within the organization and will have significant opportunity to define the QA function. The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for establishing procedures and guidelines and working with other senior managers in developing the QA function within the organization.
Dusties & Functions:
- Identifies, creates and executes application functional and regression test scenarios for validating functional requirements and user acceptance criteria.
- Develop test data, execute test scripts and analyze results.
- Designs and develops automated solutions (scripts, functions, programs, processes) to increase the efficiency of testing processes.
- Designs and develops effective test plans for product releases and client deliverables.
- Tracks, plans and coordinates the resolution of defects to ensure that defects are resolved in a timely manner.
- Controls and manages daily test activities.
- Performs effective exploratory, functional and regression testing to identify issues/defects.
- Documents, tracks and reports test results and issues/defects.
- Documents and communicates project status and complex issues effectively to team members and senior management.
- Participates in release and client project meetings.

Project Manager
The Senior Project Manager is Smarter Agent’s leader for new client installations of mobile software solutions.Significant functions of the position include: creating, implementing and maintaining detailed project plans; managing the project according to the plan; coordinating and managing the work relationship with the client's project team; building and motivating an effective internal project team; managing client expectations; and assigning priorities for team members.The Senior Project Manager will manage multiple concurrent projects and teams.
The Senior Project Manager will report directly to the CTO and will be a member of the Senior Management Team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment where he/she can bring their best practices to contribute to the success and growth of the company.
Duties and Functions:
- Creates, oversees and manages successful project implementation plans as measured by budget, timeliness, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Assists in developing best practices for project management methodology, mentors and coaches other staff in methodology and standards.
- Completes weekly analysis of project status, including scope management, resource scheduling and budget status.
- Provides regularly scheduled project level detailed reporting, as well as executive level reporting.
- Adheres to change management protocols to keep projects in budget and scope.
- Adheres to all protocols and SLAs related to project tracking.
- Creates a comprehensive statement of work for assigned projects, ensuring scope, deliverables, assumptions, risks and resources are clearly defined.

Advertising Sales Account Executives
The Mobile Advertising Executives are responsible for working independently to sell location-relevant advertising to advertising agencies and their customers, selling directly to brands, and identifying advertising opportunities to those in the real estate vertical such as real estate brokers and mortgage companies.
The Executive Director will have established relationships and an established track record working for (or working with) the agencies affiliated with WPP, Omnicom, Publics, Interpublic and similar top agencies and directly with major consumer brands. Above all, you must be the ultimate salesperson, as you will be judged by the programs you develop and revenue generating deals you structure.
The Account Executive is an entry level position with 1-3 years experience in selling interactive advertising or with an impeccable educational background and work ethic in the advertising field.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Serve as an evangelist for our mobile applications and have a passion for our business.
- Responsible for selling advertising in our applications
- Develop and manage meaningful relationships within the customer environment among users, evaluators and decision-makers and coordinate multiple points of contact between the customer and Smarter Agent.
- Will assist in the planning and will participate in trade shows. (Some travel required)
- Anticipates customer needs and successfully strategize within Smarter Agent to further enhance our application.
- Become prime source for market intelligence and customer needs by providing input and feedback regarding Smarter Agent’s applications.
- Act as the customer advocate to ensure that the customer’s expectations are met with respect to projects, products, shipments and other aspects of the customer relationship.
- Manages contract requirements, obligations and expirations and develop appropriate plans and actions that include taking the lead on all contract negotiations with the account.
- Provides monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts.
