GPS (Global Positioning System) GPS is the most accurate type of Location Based Service (LBS).  The Global Positioning System, usually called GPS, is the only fully-functional satellite navigation system. A constellation of more than two dozen GPS satellites broadcasts precise timing signals by radio to GPS receivers, allowing them to accurately determine their location (longitude, latitude, and altitude) in any weather, day or night, anywhere on Earth. When asked for GPS Access use 4-way navigation to "Allow until exit" and select [OK] on the keypad. What happens if I select "Never Allow" for "GPS" or "Network" access? If you select "Never Allow" smarter agent will not run. If the phone display shows "GPS access refused" please change your preferences to ask for GPS. [1] Quick Search GPS: Receive a list of properties that are closest to your location. [2] Advanced Search: Receive a list of properties that are closest to your location and fit your specific search criteria. [3] Map Me & Homes: See your location and the ten properties that are closest to you on an interactive map. [4] Address Search: Enter your desired location and receive a list of properties that are closest to that location. [5] Saved Favorites: Search favorite locations you have saved. [6] Find A Realtor: Speak to a qualified real estate agent about your specified area. [7] Get a Mortgage: Speak to a qualified mortgage specialist. Which search is the fastest? When you use Quick Search GPS, you will receive a list of properties that are closest to your location. To use Quick Search - GPS select [1] on the keypad from the Main Menu or use 4-way navigation to highlight Quick Search - GPS and select [ok] on the keypad. What if I only want to see properties in a specific price range? When using Advanced Search you will have the option to search specific price ranges, distances from your current location, and property types. To use Advanced Search select [2] on the keypad or use 4-way navigation to highlight Advanced Search and select [ok] on the keypad. This will deliver a list of properties that are closest to your location and fit your specific search criteria. To change the property type select [OK] on the keypad then use 4-way navigation to highlight your selection then [OK] again.  Do the same for price and miles.  When your selections have been made hit [#]on your keypad or use 4-way navigation to highlight “Submit Search ” and hit [OK] on the keypad to begin your search. Use the right hotkey to see menu options for Advanced Search Can I search within 1/2 mile of an address in another city? When using address search you have the ability to search in other areas. To use Address Search select [4] on the keypad from the Main Menu or use 4-way navigation to highlight Address Search and select [ok] on the keypad. You will then receive a list of properties that are closest to the requested location.  This can be done by: [1] City and State Search -  will ask you for a city and state, followed by street information class [2] Zip Code search will ask you for a zip code, followed by Street information class [3] Previous City and State - this will automatically input the city and state you previously searched  - you will have to enter street information class [4] Previous Zip Code this will automatically input the zip code you previously searched  - you will have to enter street information. Can I save a search and view it when I am at another location or a later time? To use the Saved Search Feature select [5] on the keypad from Main menu or use 4-way navigation to highlight Saved Favorites and select [ok] on the keypad. This feature can be used after you have saved a search. If you saved a Quick Search when you were in Philadelphia PA you can see the same properties when you are home in Phoenix AZ. Can Smarter Agent tell me where I am? To use Map Me and Homes select [3] on the keypad from the Main Menu or use 4-way navigation to highlight Map Me and Homes and select [ok] on the keypad. This will display your location and the ten properties that are closest to you on an interactive map. Use the 4-way navigation on your keypad to move around the map.  Select [OK] on the keypad when over a house icon to go to property details.  Use the [1] on the keypad to zoom in and [2] to zoom out.
