Sotheby’s Realty integrates MOBILE into print and digital experience

Are there any among us, that don’t glance the iconic Sotheby’s International Realty ads displaying high-end, homes throughout the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) and New York Times (NYT)?

I find myself scanning the rows of pictures checking out what it costs to own a luxury home in an exclusive community, an outdoor retreat in the mountains, or a spectacular oceanfront destination. (I think I am partially gauging how much more money I need to make as well.)

Those print ads still pack a lot of imaginative punch in this digital age because of the incredible inventory but even with that extra advantage Sotheby’s International Realty knows it is time to go mobile!

Displayed in the NYT print ads (Thursday June 16th, Page D4) Sotheby’s is experimenting with allowing readers to scan a QR code, or type in a mobile url to take their search from the newspaper right into the palm of their hand with their App.  Not only will readers be able to get more details about AMAZING Sotheby’s International Realty properties, but they will also be able to see homes listed by other broker’s as well.

Sotheby’s app is slated for several future developments as they explore how their unique clients interact with the new mobile medium that is powered by Smarter Agent.
