The Educational Version of Speed Dating

You’ve heard of speed dating, but how about speed learning? 


This week, the Smarter Agent team heads to sunny Southern California to take part in MLS Madness, a “speed learning” event for the close to 4,000 real estate professionals doing business in the Coachella Valley.

At MLS Madness, put together by The MLS™, attendees will have the opportunity to move between any of nine “dates” or learning stations, offering educational information on one of fifteen topics. Attendees will stay at each station for 10-15 minutes before moving on to the next topic.

At this free event, attendees will learn about products and services like Proxio, a service to help agents syndicate their listings globally; Cloud CMA, which allows agents to easily develop CMAs, property reports, flyers, and buyer tours; RPR, a national database for REALTORS which provides them access to data on more than 147 million parcels of property in the United States; and many others. The idea is to help members find the perfect “match” of products and services to better their business and meet the needs of their clients.

“Our members have an incredible array of tools at their disposal. The challenge is understanding how they work and how best to use them,” said Lisa Powell, Director of Product Management for The MLS™. “MLS Madness is a half-day event that gives agents insight into these tools and the how-to for integrating them into their business.”

Smarter Agent is honored to be the keynote speaker at MLS Madness. Our CMO Philip Charles-Pierre will be talking mobile, more specifically about mobile real estate trends, Mobile MLS Search and the mobile app powered by Smarter Agent, which enables The MLS™ members and their clients to easily search listings in the MLS from any mobile device.
